This angle of Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco side of abutment at Fort Point gives more masculine vibe than usual angles that show elegant suspension spans over the water. Steal and concrete that create lots of hard lines support the bridge and its beauty, and people usually overlook this side. It’s massive, powerful and reliable. Thousands of cars, bicycles, people and ships that travel on or under this superbly engineered bridge rely on its strength.
I really like the texture of the concrete and industrial-looking steal bars. I wish I had the blue sky instead of white fog in the background, which I think would have given stronger contrast.
