There Is So Much Love In This City

This in-your-face Mission mural art is found at the corner of Osage Street and 25th Street in the Mission. This tattoo parlor, Frisco Tattoo, has been there, but I have not seen this mural until very recently. It’s pretty bold, though the mural in the background (of mermaid) is more interesting and has more artistic value, at least from my taste. But if you are a San Francisco 49ers fan, you might love this one, because the team colors are all over the mural although there is no mentioning of the team.

I am not sure if the writing “There is so much love in this city” has any special meaning. Some sort of tribute to an incident or particular event or history? This photo does not show it but there is signature on the lower right corner. This Mission mural art is done by Nolan Jones and Pablo A. Medina. From what I see online, there are more interesting Mission mural arts on Osage Street. I should go visit.
